Just wanted to share our fun weekend story for those considering buying a Roadtrek. It was a typical Friday afternoon at work, taking a moment on the phone with my wife to figure out our weekend plans. She surprised me with "let's get out of town!" We park the Roadtrek next to our house in a crowded neighborhood and can pack it quickly. Our 11 year old daughter went on line and checked out campgrounds in Ventura County and picked three that seemed fun and beautiful. The luxury of having the Roadtrek is not fearing you will be stuck without sleeping arrangements or food wherever you go. We pulled into a beachfront campground and drove around on a 'first come, first serve' basis and were blessed with a spot. Our Roadtrek set up quickly with the awning going up in minutes and the bed set up in minutes. We also could pack up in less than 15 minutes and drive into town for shopping in downtown Ventura. I parked it easily on Main Street in Ventura, CA. Back at the campground, I observed the other types of RVs, 5th wheels, and campers, and was struck with our absolute advantage of SIMPLICITY. We could set up and clean up the quickest and easiest of all those at the campground. We did not need to hookup for the weekend and we had a blast! Thanks Roadtrek for creating a vehicle that makes weekends away simple and camping luxurious enough for my wife to enjoy!
