The 170-Versatile on the great handling Chevrolet Express 2500 regular van is the easiest of all Roadtreks to maneuver through traffic and fit into those car sized parking spots. The 170 has many features you take for granted in a car, like better fuel economy than most camper vans (never mind larger motorhomes), along with the full-size motorhome features you would expect from any Roadtrek.

The Ultimate Widebody Class B!

Our 210 models represent the ultimate fusion of design, engineering and functionality in the class B segment. Built on the Chevrolet Express extended van, they are true class B motorhomes. We start with a full van body and then extend the frame 18” behind the rear wheels increasing the overall length to 21’ 11”. Then we add a fully-painted steel-cage-reinforced fiberglass body. But the 210 is no “box on wheels”. After the cab, the body widens gradually to a maximum of 9” at the rear wheels then gently tapers to the rear. The 155” long wheelbase allows for amazing ride quality...

How are Roadtreks®TM Made?

Roof Preparation & Installation

The fiberglass roof for Chevy body models is our own design that you'll see only on a Roadtrek. The core of the roof is 1/2" rigid insulation except where wood is used to secure items to the ceiling. The roof is pre-wired and then insulated throughout which also provides a padded effect on the ceiling.

Next we install a white vinyl ceiling liner which is much more practical than fabric liners. The vinyl liner is more durable, doesn't absorb cooking fumes and is easier to clean than fabric. The 3 roof windows are made of tempered glass for long lasting durability. They add to the feeling of interior spaciousness and make other Roadtreks easy to recognize when they're approaching on the road.

The completed roof is hoisted and transported along ceiling tracks and lowered for installation on the awaiting van.
