Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA -- April 30, 2003 -- Rock and Roll legend Ronnie Hawkins today picked up his new 2003 Roadtrek 190 Versatile based on the Chevrolet Express Van. Ronnie was presented his keys by Jeff Hanemaayer, Chairman of Home & Park Motorhomes.
This is Ronnie’s fourth Roadtrek. “It’s a great way to get to performances, appearances and even for a quick run down to the store!” quipped Ronnie. “I really enjoy the convenience of having a dressing room, kitchen and washroom. It’s like having the best green room on wheels.” says Ronnie.
During the past year, Ronnie had open heart surgery and a battle with cancer. He has now deemed him-self fit as a fiddle. “I owe it all to the Big Rocker in the Sky” he said. His schedule is busy, promoting his music, making numerous media appearances, completing a documentary and attending select RV in-dustry trade shows and Roadtrek Rallies... “I am part of a great team here at Roadtrek” says Ronnie. “I look forward to promoting the product; I use it regularly and can tell you Roadtreks are the best!”
Home & Park Motorhomes manufactures the Roadtrek, the #1 selling class B motor home (camper van) in North America (since 1990).
